Childbirth Education

The Childbirth Education class includes instruction on the phases of labor, pain management, relaxation, breathing techniques, when to come to the hospital, and what to expect for your delivery at KCH. The Lactation portion of the class includes learning about the dynamics of breastfeeding, positioning, identification of infant feeding cues, and tips to make challenges easier. Your partner or support person is encouraged to participate.
